Zanzibar Nurses Association (ZANA) in collaboration with African Women leadership Network (AWLN) under this project has plan to increase utilization of family planning services in four health facility in North Region Unguja and Pemba. The project has duration of 3 months starting from July to September 2014. The activities w implemented under coalition of member NGOs implementing/ supporting maternal and child health services in Zanzibar especially in FP services. (ZANGOC, ANGOZA, YAP, UMATI and ZAC.
Increased family planning outreach services in North Unguja A&B) Wete and Micheweni Pemba
Increased availability and access to reproductive health supplies and commodities in four selected sites in Unguja North and Pemba North
To assess the availability Family Planning supplies in Primary Health Care Unit
To assess the implementation of ZILS at all level (Central, District and Health facility level)
Identify challenges in logistic management of FP commodities.
Identify stake holders in conducting outreach services
Assess the implementation of outreach services within North A Unguja and Micheweni Pemba.
